NYC RAEN functions
Funded by the New York State Education Department (SED) Office of Adult Education and Workforce Development, the NYC RAEN’s primary functions are to:
- provide professional development and technical assistance to SED-funded adult literacy, family literacy, and EL-Civics programs
- facilitate initiatives that better align adult literacy education with higher education, K–12, and the workforce development system
2007-08 workplan
At the beginning of each program year, the LAC submits its NYC RAEN workplan to the State Education Department. The current year’s workplan, outlining the rich array of programs and services covered by our NYC RAEN work, is available for download as a PDF file (PDF, 141K).
