Dan Rabideau Clearinghouse
Our library offers a wide array of materials including books, journals, audio- and videotapes, and software. In addition to professional development materials that can help you improve your practice, we also offer curricula and other materials for use with basic education, ESOL, family, and youth literacy students.
These materials are currently available for browsing only and may not be removed from the library.
No appointment is necessary during open hours. For more information, contact Winston Lawrence, Ed.D., Senior Professional Development Associate, 212.803.3326.
Computer Learning Center
Sixteen Internet-connected computers donated by IBM, and the LAC’s Instructional Technology staff, stand ready to help you integrate computer technology into instruction. Discover great online learning resources and plan how to use them, explore ways to use common office software to enhance basic skill development, or discuss instructional strategies and look at best practices in technology integration during the center’s open hours.
