Literacy Harvest
Literacy Harvest is the LAC’s annual journal by and for literacy practitioners and researchers. Recent themes include health literacy, family literacy, the literacy community’s response to 9/11, and leadership.
Fall 2007
The Fall 2007 issue of Literacy Harvest (PDF, 2.2M), supported in part by the Altman Foundation, reprints many of the articles in our very popular Fall 2004 issue, along with a new overview of the status of health literacy by Cynthia Baur of the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and a description of recent LAC work in health literacy by Winston Lawrence and Lisa Van Brackle.
