Session 3: Making the Most of Online Job Banks

1. Go to America's Job Bank at http://www.ajb.dni.us.
2. Click on "Job Seekers", "Sign Up" and "Yes".
3. Fill out the required information and click on "Submit Registration". Remember your user name and password!
4. Click on the provided link and enter your user name and password. Click on "OK".
5. Click on "Job Search".
6. Click on "Job Title" and select "Construction and Extractive" and "Carpenter". Select New York for county and click on "Search Now".
7. To view details, click on the eye icon on the left side of the screen.
8. Click on "Wage and trend information related to this type of job" at the bottom of the screen and answer the following questions
