Sofa Love: A We Speak NYC Housing Romance
Description: Sofa Love is a brand new We Speak NYC soap opera about the condition of the home and the heart. In Sofa Love, the characters learn about tenant rights and find solutions to housing problems in their real lives, too. In this workshop, we preview the episode and episode Study Guide which ask the immortal questions: How can you mend a broken heart? How can you stop a leak from pouring down?

Description: Everybody in New York City has a right to health care, but getting good information and enrolling in health insurance is difficult, especially in a second language. Under One Roof is a dramatic new WSNYC episode about accessing affordable health care. In this workshop, we preview the episode and episode Study Guide, practice pedagogies, and share ideas for their use in your classes.

Description: This workshop is designed to empower case managers in the skillful gathering of accurate and comprehensive information crucial for assessing student needs. Through the lens of motivational interviewing, this session aims to equip case managers with the tools to adeptly uncover barriers, facilitating collaborative efforts in the pursuit of both short-term and long-term goals.
